Children learning through play at preschool in Parker CO

About The Meadows: A Passionate Journey in Early Childhood Education

Working with young children has been my passion since 1998, when I began what’s turned into a lifelong career in early childhood education. Along the way, I earned my director’s qualifications in 2000, bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Education and Social Work, and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling focused on children and families. But what I’ve loved most is building connections with kids and families—and mentoring teachers who share that same love of learning.

When my son Jack was born in 2013, my perspective on education shifted. I wanted more for him, and I realized the kind of school I dreamed of just didn’t exist in a corporate setting. That planted the first seed of opening my own school.

By the time my daughter Ellie arrived in 2015, I knew it was time to make it happen. I wanted my children surrounded by teachers who were excited to come to work every day, who felt supported and free to bring their creativity into the classroom. And most importantly, I wanted a place that valued the process of learning just as much—if not more—than the end results.

That dream became The Meadows Early Learning Center, which opened its doors in August 2016. Since then, it’s been magical watching children laugh, grow, and thrive in a community where they’re celebrated as individuals.

If you’re a parent in Parker looking for a nurturing, creative, and supportive preschool, we’d love to welcome you to The Meadows.
